When you book any service provided by Camp Sparkle Springs, you are signifying your agreement to the Terms and Conditions described below. Please read these carefully as it is your responsibility to pay attention to them.
You will have received an email to confirm your booking and post booking forms.
All payments made are non-refundable.
If you have any remaining credit with us, this will be issued towards your booking, and you will be notified.
We do not accept child care vouchers or payment by cheque. Payments and deposits are non-refundable. We may be able to exchange any cancellations for credit which may be used in the future at request. Please note offering credit is discretionary subject to the circumstances.
2. Cancellation policy
Taking into consideration that unforeseen circumstances can arise, should you need to cancel your space at Camp Sparkle Springs for a particular day or week, please see the options available to you:
You may swap your date with another individual who wishes to join – notice must be given prior, and you are to arrange this between yourselves.
You may discuss with Camp Sparkle Springs another way to make use of your credit.
Notice must be given for cancellation. If your daughter does not show up for camp, you will risk losing the value of the day.
Camp Sparkle Springs reserves the right to cancel your spot at camp and will give you notice if required. If this happens, you will be entitled to a full refund for the canceled day.
For any other reasons where camp needs to be canceled due to circumstances out of our control (e.g. force majeure, government guidelines, rules, or new regulations which we will be bound to follow), you will be informed of what the next stages are and your options to reserve your credit for future use/refunds where applicable. In the unlikely event that we cancel camp by our own choice, you will be refunded in full/credited and given this option.
3. Changing your booking
You can move your dates subject to availability, free of any Admin Fees, provided you do so more than 21 days from the first camp date.
For anything after the 21-day period, it will be at the discretion of Camp Sparkle Springs to allow you to change your booking accordingly. Due to the demand and circumstances at the time, this cannot always be guaranteed.
Please also note that all preparation is made in advance for your daughter(s) to ensure they have a great day.
As we offer a discounted weekly price, if you wish to cancel a day(s) within a week, we will then recalculate your booking at the daily rate (at the time of your original booking) which may result in an additional charge.
4. Clothes and items
Camp Sparkle Springs takes no responsibility for damage to clothes or the loss of items, etc. brought to the camp days.
It is your responsibility to ensure your daughters are dressed suitably for camp each day.
It is your responsibility to ensure your daughters have water with them at camp. We will encourage them to drink throughout the day/fill up.
It is your responsibility to sort out the lunch arrangements and snacks for your daughters participating.
It is your duty to have notified us in writing about your daughter’s dietary/allergy requirements on the booking form.
If you wish to send your daughter to camp with a spare change of clothes, please do so.
5. Offers and Discounts
The best available price will always be offered to you at the time of booking, as well as any sibling discounts and early bird rates if applicable.
These may not be available if you are booking on late notice (within a week of camp commencing).
6. Health and safety
We take the safety and wellbeing of your daughters very seriously.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your daughter is fit and well for camp and is in good health.
For any type of illness, we kindly ask that you do not send your daughter(s) to the camp. Please let Camp Sparkle Springs know prior, and we will sort out another arrangement for you accordingly.
Camp Sparkle Springs reserves the right to send daughters home should the daughter(s) at camp display any signs of illness.
You understand by booking onto Camp Sparkle Springs at our venue that the girls will all be sharing one big space in the hall and will be sectioned out accordingly in small groups.
Unless stated otherwise in your forms, Camp Sparkle Springs reserves the right to take photos at the camp for social media, advertising purposes.
If you do not consent to your daughter(s) photo being taken, please make us aware before attending camp by email or in writing – not verbally.
8. Allergies, medical notice, contact information
Please ensure your form is up to date, and all of the correct information has been sent.
It is your responsibility to inform Camp Sparkle Springs of any changes.
At Camp Sparkle Springs, we reserve the right to send home any participants who misbehave at the camp.
Camp Sparkle Springs has a responsibility for ensuring the well-being and safety of all girls in our care and has a ZERO tolerance policy for any behavior which is disruptive or inappropriate in any way.
This policy includes racism, bullying, and persistent poor behavior of any kind, irrespective of any special needs.
On rare occasions, and in more serious cases, we reserve the right to ask parents to remove child(ren) from camp either for the remainder of the day or for the remainder of any sessions booked. No refund will be made for any remaining days booked, and any costs associated with the exclusion will be the parents’ responsibility.
10. Illness and First Aid
Camp Sparkle Springs requires that all daughter(s) who are ill or infectious be kept home for the full duration of their ailment.
In the unlikely event of an accident, first aid will be administered to your daughter(s) in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary.
Essential prescribed medication including Epipens must be handed in to the Camp Leader for safekeeping.
Please be responsible when making a decision about bringing your daughter(s) – bringing a child who is mildly ill, even if you are sure they are well enough to attend, could threaten the health of other girls and of the staff.
11. Drop off at camp
Do not enter the hall until you have been checked in. This may mean waiting in a line with parents.
You must write your daughter’s name on all items brought to camp. Please ensure you have let us know about all alternative pick-up arrangements in writing.
If someone who is collecting your daughter(s) has not been mentioned on your sign-up form, please make Camp Sparkle Springs aware by stipulating the going-home arrangements in writing (by email). They must provide the code that was given to you at check-in.
Camp Sparkle Springs is one big party where every girl can dream big, laugh loud, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
